My introduction laid out on a green cutting mat, with objects from my journey arranged around it — the A11y Agent and ReviewFlow open-source projects, the Coverly cover generator, my camera, and a personal note.

Designer who codes

For me, code isn't about becoming an engineer — it's about becoming a sharper designer. It lets me push past what's easy to mock up, feel the real constraints behind a product, and work with engineers in the same language.

I use code across the whole process, not just at handoff. I've shipped end-to-end products, built prototypes to test tricky interactions, made quick demos to get an idea across, and worked with real product states that static screens can't capture. From small interface experiments to design-system components, it's how I move from an idea to something people can actually use — comfortable in a codebase, raising and reviewing pull requests, and tying design decisions to the build.
